    they get real creative on some of those winch trucks. many are built in house out of scrap oilfield pipe. obviously they are not concerned eith weight. i have met some darn fine fabricators during my time in the oil patch

    Yeah, it had a winch in the rack, on the front bumper and the rear bumper on the trailer

    i like the way they build them with chain racks on the side so the chains hang down to the outsode between the tanks and tires. cant tell if that one if like that

    They hang directly over the tanks and basically drape around them on the outside

    that could be better thought out. i have seen them with a wide tray built down for them to lay against

    They had a metal bar that kept them from touching the tanks. This setup would only work down here where the salt and snow never reaches for sure. Just thought it was interesting setup

    I wouldnt say that SHC, that's how they set up the winch tractors up here alot as well.

    I saw the same sleeper by chance on a Western Star today. That's why I didn't recognize it but it still looked oddly familiar.

    I guess that's how they roll with all that oil money. Just buy new chains and binders every year lol
