Iowa must have changed their laws regarding oversize running at night. I have seen several this week running well past sunset. Just seen one of Pape's trucks roll in here with a tractor on, blue T6. Do I get a hat or shirt?

My first load was a D8 that I transported from Levy Corp job site at LTV Steel to our yard in Valparaiso for repairs. They also had to repair the D ring on the lowboy that I broke off by ratcheting too hard on a 1/2" chain. That's what happens when you send out a 21 year old with zero experience and something to prove lol

OS can run in Iowa 24/7 as long as they have 2 orange and 2 amber on the widest points

My first flatbed otr load I was running with another guy since they needed two trucks to move the whole thing anyway. It was a full trailer of aluminum bleachers with more sharp edges than I've seen on any load since, and they had to have it tarped. Took us 5 hours to tarp both trucks and get out of there.

We went from northern Texas to Yuma, AZ where they promptly unloaded us and set it all on the ground outside as that's where it was being installed around a high school football field.

Last weeks FEMA load, I know what your thinking when you see only one strap on the second two bundles, the reason its like that is this was a power only load and the trailer had the winches bolted on...

I think I would've thrown atleast a 2inch hand strap over that second bundle so it didn't walk out on you...

Just an update, I got up this morning to take a shower and the ATS truck was still sitting here. When I came out, he was gone. So I guess it will just be a mystery if the flags got put on or not..... But I'll just let the DOT do their job lol
