The transition you have is minor and strap might not do a whole lot. It's when you get one that drops 3 or 4 feet that the strap really helps. I don't get crazy tightening it down just enough so it won't flap.

Yeah it did a bit on the taller corner on the transition from lower to tall mid trailer on the taller part no scratches or holes thought thank goodness! Also forgot to mention after I rolled up the tarps after the first load I made an HUGE mistake of rolling my D-Rings on the outside man was it a huge PITA to flip the tarp on my next load so I can have the D-Rings where I wanted them..lol!

Tarp job looks good mack. Just make sure the tarp is tightly pulled and thats about it.

do you guys roll lumber tarps with the flaps to the inside of the roll or the outside? guess it doesnt matter much as long as you remember where it is so you know which end to start unrolling it from.
