    Not really, only difference is that the western 4 wheeler drivers are scared and can't drive. Most of them run on bald tires and wonder why the car slides down the driveway when they wash it

    Did 20 years in Oregon. When I lived in Eastern Oregon, I had to chain up, to get from my driveway to the highway, to see if the chain law was in effect.

    To me the only real difference in the NW and some of the other states west of NE is they dont use road salt, gravel and sand for the most part. Driving on snow is driving on snow. I just take my time and if your smart about it snow is a traction adder when your on those ice covered roads which I will admit I hate and am intimidated by.
