Oh yeah, rest of the trailer was carrying sail boat fuel!

Plus it was a BS load, 170 miles. Then 170 right back to pick up one going to WI for my 90 annual inspection with the company.

Sorry for the delay, had a few "perturbing" days.
Ended up with a 7th tarp on it, in -18 temps, and 25mph winds. Fun fun...
And yes, it does pay a mint, otherwise I'd still be hooked to my little 48' RGN, instead of this 53' stretch 3 axle POS.
Deliver tomorrow AM in Nampa, then the fun of rolling up those ##### 7 tarps!

    Yes indeed!
One tarp had a small hole in it, which I patched etc.
Drove from Rapid City to Murdo, on 35mph side winds, which promptly removed the patch, and proceeded to tear a tarp to a stitch line.
Ended up borrowing a big step ladder from the Pilot (VERY kind of them BTW), put it on the front deck and strapped a block behind it, and up I went. Just folded back the front tarps and ran a new tarp over the torn one, after padding the snot out of the $#%*% control panel that tore the first one...Took @1.5hrs or so with two of us doing it, and maybe another 4hrs before I could feel my fingers again!

And I will gladly remind you of that in the future!:biggrin_2559:
Looking forward to the SOB coming off the trailer, but NOT looking forward to rolling 7 tarps, when the temps have yet to reach above 20 degrees for the whole trip! Was minus 28 in Wy this morning, so expecting a fight to get them rolled tomorrow....wanna help??
BTW, there just have been over 15 trucks gelled up, ON the interstate this morning in WY. Folks not know to add additive when it gets that cold or what? Granted I was surprised to see them gelling up while moving, but still. A check of the fuel/water separator every day, $17 on a bottle of anti gell, and keeping an eye on stuff goes a long way in stupid temps like that IMHO.

I thought the anti gel stuff only worked until 15 degrees. Atleast all the bottles I have say that. Might be a cheap version. Stuff is really cheap from the terminal.

I've been checking my fuel filter pretty regularly. Just changed it infact.
