Here's my piece for today. Thank god the hydraulics wool good and I talked them into sending the cylinder lock with it or I'd have a messes up deck.

Paid me a decent amount, no complaints on that end. Just my mpg was hurt. Heavy winds really had me screwed. Total was 41k as well so not completely maxed out. Normally I don't haul these, I'm trying to get home and we all know how that goes.

Specially since I live in Florida. It's a pain to get home sometimes. Heck right now I'm sitting waiting for a load headed within atleast 200 miles from the house so I can just eat that.

Hard to tell from the pic. I'll have to check a Fontaine step closer next time I see one.

Anyway I can usually go a bit diagonal from a point fore of the wheel on one one side to a point aft of the wheel on the other.

Hard to get back to FL??? I get several load offers going to FL everyday and all pay descent. I just don't live there so I don't go there. I speak to guys in the same boat as you, can't get back to FL/GA but get out of FL/GA up to Chicago. I can't find a load going to Chicago for the life of me I swear !!!

From Florida it's typically going right outside of Chicago with a load of OSB. Getting to Florida usually isn't that hard, sometimes it is. Usually I haul OSB down to a treatment plant in central Florida but I'm about 450 miles away from that customer and 591 away from home so it's a gamble. Plus I get paid for deadhead so I don't mind deadheading. 86c a mile plus fuel surcharge? Happy man since I'm not even hauling something on the deck.

But you can have too many straps and/or chains every day! Too few one day though........
    Good job IMHO.

I really need some load levelers for this trailer. I miss out on some runs because I don't have them. And everytime I am in Blytheville I get passed over since I can only load 40' beams
