Yea but it gets old after awhile. I did a 4 month sting hauling mud from greybull to rock springs. A load a day was took right at 11 hours up and back 5 loads a week.

Oh hell you pull that pass everyday you get used to it and run 65 or 70 unless its real bad then you might back down to 55 I was pulling a flat train loaded up to 117k and didn't have any fear back then. I was all of about 19 years old when I did it so I really didn't kno any better.

Loaded isn't what would worry me, it's the empty return trip pulling that train that would have me white knuckling it over that at 60mph lol

I see yeah it wasn't that bad but it was always empty in the morning and loaded in the afternoon so at least I was usually kinda fresh going empty.

I can remember a time going over I got behind some Texas bulk haulers that were empty also. I blew by them on red canyon doing about 70 to their 15 and all they could talk about the rest of the way to Worland was that crazy flatbed train that didn't slow down for nothing all I could do was laugh.

Yeah, those southern drivers get a little scared even when it rains. They were prob only going 15mph because they had bald tires like 90% of Texas trucks do. They couldn't get them to go any faster lol

Pretty much. Those were fun times tho I've never been so tired in my life. Of course come Friday night we would party straight on thru Sunday afternoon so I suppose that didn't help.

They generally end up in the base, or post museum. We got plenty of our own stuff for hard targets.
