A friend of mine, with 8 axles, has 1/2" gr100 stuff and yea, it is dang expensive. Heavy too! They'll whoop my little butt.
Luckily, there is no anchor points on my flat with a WLL even close to that, so it would be a waste of money and labor to use anything with a WLL close to that.

 

Thanks! In @20yrs, I have never had a securement ticket, so it works for sure.
I do the same with straps too. My 4" straps are rated at just over 5k lbs, but I class them as 4k lbs, and so on.

Yup it is. They didnt want me to pick up anything else so I said ok.

Just like that JIT load I had. They said "exclusive use of trailer" and paid accordingly. So I don't complain at all.

 

Ugh!! Stressing me out

 

Gotta love exclusive use and the extra charges.
And yes, there is an extra accessorial charge for exclusive use.
