According to the RM, there is a Walmart at 5502 Monterey Hwy, San Jose, CA where there is overnight parking allowed, it says is allowed but notify/check with manager.

This was my load from Pittsburgh to a farm in Iowa. I was just shy of 87000 lbs and I was right at 13'6" because I let all the air out of the tires. Heavy SOB!! FordL8000.jpg

You gotta air them up before you drive it off? Or does who you deliver it to have to worry about that?

Probably gotta put air back in to drive it off..helps to have an air hose with an air chuck and glad hand fitting however.

I've seen folks with huge machines and deflated tires..I'd imagine the PSI on some of the larger tires would be higher than usual...I know my truck could probably air up something to 120psi, do some tires need more than that?

It's not the pressure but the volume that is the problem. It takes a hell of a long time to air a tire all the way up with just your truck tanks the other problem with letting the air out of tires is that unless you crib up the axles you take a chance of ruining a very expensive set of tires.

The buyer was the one who suggested letting the air out. I have not done it before because of the fear of ruining the tires and most places dont want you to. One of the tires beads popped off but I called and let them know so they brought a seater with and I have a hose with a gladhand.
