    The securement is on the ends. You cant strap over the middle of the boom. You could kink it and compromise the integrity.

    Here's the little office I picked up in Waco I'm used to hauling its big sister that's 65 feet long so it's quite a change.

    Couldnt say for sure. Went through some snow on the way up to rapid city. Couldve just been from the spray but dont know for sure couldve been my phone too. All the lumber at that particular yard i picked up at sat outside for how long i have no clue. Felt sorry for another guy that had a 20 mile run of untreated lumber. Got 10 miles down the road and the snow started falling.

    Keep in mind the trailer flexes going down the road. If you were to tighten a strap on the unsupported section, when the trailer flexed it would bend the section, costing you around $60,000. They have their own exception in the green book.
