First piece of my puzzle. Managed to cover it with just a 24x16 steel tarp turned sideways. I'm pretty sure tho that by the time I get to Casper, it will most likely be destroyed due to so many sharp corners and crap. Padded it best I could but I'm doubtful.

Good luck driver!! If I was that worried and it wasn't sensitive I'd take the tarp off.

If it means so much to you to look good on the other end put it back on the night before/morning of

It is shrink wrapped and then plastic over it and cardboard. I put movers pads on the sharp edges I could, just not sure it will survive a trip from Denver to Casper up windy ol' I-25. We shall see

New carpet padding is cheap ;)

Used carpet padding is FREE. Most carpet stores take their old padding in for recycling, but will give it away if asked.

put a couple of portable straps around it to stop any flapping of tarp , or if ya have some of the one inch rachet straps, run thru the d rings around the middle of the tarp .

    SHC and Logan76 Thank this.
