Me, I'm going on my 5th week.
Only 2 more weeks and I have to come back and go to work. But after getting trk. bill and having to put new pony motor on trl. I gotta bust arse.
Hope the weather will be nice nice when I get back to Mn..
Need a heat wave the second week of Feb.. HaHa

 

Sad but true in this case. He was supposed to have us a load out Friday morning and he's been swearing he did all week. Yeah, since last Friday. Boss even turned down two or three loads out of there because the broker swore up and down that he had one. It's not the first time either. He keeps doing it, boss keeps falling for it, I've about had enough of it.

 

I had a load like that this week toooo...except mine went lansing mi to newburgh ny.....got great gas mileage tho! And no problem haulin air up and down those hills...never had to lift my foot!

 

Is that what happens when the broker doesn't get paid?

 

I dunno. He works for ch robinson, not my problem. They're 5 weeks behind on paying me, I know that.

Ended up with a load of steel heading out to OK. Swears they have a load getting back out. I'll believe it when I see it.

 

All I can say to that is "Why the heck are you still there?" I believe in loyalty to your company, but only to a point. And when the point comes that they can't make payroll, then it is time to pull the plug and go somewhere else.

 

Ok, I will ask. I think you MIGHT be missing some securement. If you dont have dunnage built up infront of load arent you supposed to have 2 tie downs in the first 10 feet? We had a driver pinched for a load that looked alot like yours and I think that was the reason.
