I was tired after doing this load and then tarping it. Got pictures pre-tarp for a chainge, but forgot to get tarped pictures :D

Here's the tarped pictures, though the only thing of interest would be the double 2 in straps securing the tarp to the drop portion of the stepdeck. Of course there's two reasons for that. One being to eliminate the wind effect and totally enclose the load, and second, the top tarp has no D-rings on the section where the straps are on the driver's side, so I had to improvise, adapt and overcome. :D Urrahh.

CAXPT, i have done that before going from the top to the bottom. A real PITA....
my next load is 22 pallets (mix of plataized bags and super sacks) and I can only fit 20 on the bottom deck, so 2 of them are going onto the top deck, but I stopped at Home Depot and bought a el-cheapo 12x16 to put over them with my canvas tarp under it. Best I can do honestly, since my load was originally only 20 pallets but they bumped it up to 22 and I explained to them what was going to happen. They said they will shrink wrap them for me also. We shall see how it goes

Yeah I hear you, that's the problem I seem to have with this step deck. Seems everyone thinks they know better how to load me than me.....but then I have to fix the mess. The PITA is that the tarps are supposedly 24 x 26 machine (style) tarps....so I have an 8 foot drop no matter which way I turn them... and as you can see, there was no height to this load. :(

Bottom load was almost covered except for that last 6 inches... so I had to throw the "torn" (16 X 24) tarp on the top, but of course it's missing D rings. :D The fun never ends. :D

I bought myself a 10 X 12 poly tarp at the Petro for future use in case of the "short" tarp again. It worked out this time, since I had the split deck to overlap it, but next time it's a "close" call on the tarp, it's coming out. :D
