My load for today. This earned me a 45 minute long level 3 on the FL Turnpike shoulder today by a rookie and his FTO.

    SHC Thanks this.

Funny you should say that, the first truck I drove was a 359 and I hated everything about it and nothing worked on it. Of course it was a 2 axle day cab with spring ride, no power steering and the AC didn't work.

You can have all the trailers you want, I won't fight you for them. I hauled them once out of GA going to Tractor Supply's in FL. It would have to pay ALOT for me to consider ever doing them again, and my version of ALOT is usually double most other's version. As far as DH goes though, never be afraid to DH. San Antonio to Orlando was my big one last year.

I know where you got those from. I remember a couple of years ago when they had that flood, them things were floating all over the place on those foam blocks.

Been there done that driver. Every time I've been to south Dakota there's a convoy of flatbeds headed southeast. Sucks but there aint nothing else we can do. Sailboat fuel is cheaper to haul than 48000lbs of whatever paying $300 on 600 miles. Got called today for a load 200 mile deadhead for 1.80/mile to Denver had more deadhead than loaded and it would've been a deadhead out of Denver to god knows where. Kick back deal with the office b.s., baby sit a driver headed to Texas and take another day off my life sucking on cancer sticks. Neighbor told me today "that cigarettes going to kill you" just looked at her and said yea well if cigarettes kill these ain't working...ugh I think I've had a few to many :puke::puke:

cluck Im pretty sure that this aint the first time your eye has been correct.

far from what a few have said, we've had good luck and no problems hauling trailers, this is the 4 or 5th time (first from this plant) but never any drama. they pay decent and are light.
