    That's not always true cluck. I've hauled some high dollar OD OW thru brokers you've just got to weed through the ones who have no clue what they are trying to move.

    If you own the truck you've got to pay did permits in every state which can get really expensive and if your big enough you've got to have pilot cars which depending on how many can get into your pocket fast. The last load I put a pic up of went from Texas to Pennsylvania was 14 2 wide 99 long and 15 4 high and cost 5800 dollars in just permits and pilots. I build that accessorial expense into my rate and get it on top or the load doesn't move.

    Saw your post the other day and hope you can get it resolved ok and not lose your customer or your arse on it.

    Ok if If you pay 5,800 let's say 3k for fuel what would you make out of this run?

    No, the 5800 is just for his permits and pilots. He's still going to charge more for actually moving the load. That 5800 doe not include his rate.

    I understand Razor , I'm curious after the expenses what will he make clean in his pocket after 5,800 and fuel.

    Not sure about him, but I wouldn't be giving that information out myself. It's exactly how loads get under bid.
    Just realize he would have been well compensated for the load and be happy to know that much.
    If you want to know what od loads pay at the end of the run, book yourself one.
