Cluck, was the coil laying flat or on edge, and how did you setup the chocks if it was on edge? rubber mats under the coil and the wood?

No rubber mats aside for a few strips was just easier to throw a blanket to keep the coil from getting scuffed up

She's been a good a lil coil hasn't budged or loosed up the whole trip except for when I moved it this morning kicked off the skidded stuff now picking up a backhoe to go with the coil down to Houston

Loaded up in the Chicago area to. On the front is 2 gear boxes going to Tulsa, and the piece on the back is a television antenna for a NBC Studio in Grand Island. Delivering the antenna Saturday morning then the gear boxes on Monday.

It's all personal preference but I'd have thrown one more chain between middle and back :biggrin_25522:

My first son was born friday 13...
It was jun 13, so it was 6/13 and he weighed 6 lbs and 13 oz... now call it a lucky number!

Coming down the hill it was iced out, trailer started gainning on my left so I released the brakes to get a little speed and straighten it up, somehow it didnt work, toi much ice and it just went to the ditch.. I almost saved it. This was in MT

This guy pulled up next to me tonight. All the chains are hooked to the bottom flange of the frame rail. It was an W/E company truck. Does anybody else do this?
