How are you liking the new rig now that you've been in it for awhile?

So far I'm loving it. Been from Washington to Miami and back to Tulsa all oversized and averaging 5.92 (per calculator not in dash computer). Has a real solid fell, much more so than the Swedish Meatball, the doors shut with a solid thud rather than a tin rattle. The ride is as good as the Volvo was, certainly not better but Volvo has always been one of the better riding trucks on the road.

Not nearly as much storage room inside the cab/sleeper as the Volvo had but what I lost inside I gained on the outside and since I need more the outside space for all my gear it was worth the tradeoff for me.

Handling, visibility, ride all about the same. Pulling power of the ISX vs the Swedish Meatball, well there's no comparison, the ISX even not broken in will out-pull the Swede not by a little but by a long ways. Climbed Cabbage in Oregon with only 2500 miles on the odometer with a double drop oversize at 48 mph (per GPS). The Swede pulled that same hill with similar loads around 35 to 40 mph and I had to shift the gears on the Swede.

Fuel mileage is kicking the Swede's arse as is the pulling power, the ride is equal, the storage inside is less although the layout works a little better for me. But the biggest for me, the cab, doors, etc. have a real solid feel whereas the Swede was kind of tinny.
