I'm wondering if it's even possible to legally secure that load the way it sits ends touching.

Just sayin' I would definitely want to hide that under a tarp if i did it like that.

 

Doesn't the coil at the front become a block for the ones behind as long as you have more securement on the front coil? Just asking the question

Had a real good day, loaded in Houston, water truck went to Austin, forklifts went to San Antonio area. I love our new dispatcher! The PTO wasn't strong enough to pick up my tail with the 2 axels on it, so the customer let me use a dozer to help lift it. Ended up costing me extra time and I didn't get to pick up the f/l coming back to H-town, so I'm camping out in Seguin for the night. F/L receiver was nice enough to take a late delivery.

 

I see that long wheelbase serves more purposes than just looking cool !

 

I'm just guessing but I think you need to secure each coil individually. I can't remember all those dang rules. I've done multi baby coils from slitters like that. I just secure it to my own satisfaction and hide it under the tarp he did.
