October 18th and ITS SNOWING. I finally get a weekend at home (to which my wife thinks is a conspiracy because the radio control airplane auction is this weekend at the events center 2 blocks from my house and bills itself as the second largest in the nation) and it snows. I had forgot this weekends auction till a friend of mine from Montana found out I'm home and he's driving 22 hours down here with his wife so we can attend said auction. I thought I would cram 3 days of honey-do's into a Friday to impress the missus so I could swing by the auction "real quick" tomorrow to check out what they're selling. I think the snow is a conspiracy between her and mother nature against me!!

Vibrating hammer head I hauled today to Ft. Wayne. Was supposed to be 11'4" wide but of course the rain yesterday made it go to a big over 12'. Luckily there is only 1 scale in IL that I had to cross and it was closed, and I have a annual for IN.
Sleepy68, The Challenger and peterbilt_2005 Thank this. -

That thing's ugly SHC, oh well looks like an easy enough load.
-
Well it's part of a load, of course this is a personal shipment so it doesn't pay anything but my son will be happy when I get it to him. (It's a bar stool with a Suzuki GS 450 motor. )

That looks like it could be fun, but also a killer if one is not carefull.
What did you buy at the airplane auction, or did your wife hide the cash and credit cards from you? -
As for the auction, I bought another giant scale Yak 54 (111 cc 2 cylinder, 2 cycle engine), a 1/4 scale P-51 Dago Red unlimited race plane, a 3 meter glider, a Starfire 40 aerobatic sport plane, a set of FPV goggles, a retract system air pump and a bunch of small stuff (props, servos, batteries etc). And all it cost me was a $329 dinner at Chesters Chop House and Wine Bar (she has no clue what I spent at the auction and doesn't care). The Challenger Thanks this. -
CatalinaFlyer do you park your truck in front of your house during hometime?
Man, it's great to have good neigbors, isn't it?
