  3. So the other day, a broker calls me up . "same day delivery " he says. Weathers clear & roads nice. I'm heading to the house, so in no big hurry. I can drop this load 115 miles away , in the direction of the house. He asks. "How much ya do this load for?"

I say. A grand cause it rolled off tongue, he counters 750. I said sure throw it on. Get this

15' tall by 6'' wide plastic tank 200 lbs. For an orange farm..

I forgot to take a picture , do I still get pie for dessert?

Tanks piss me off because they weigh nothing. I called on 1 in Iowa going towards Home once. I'd was like 30 by 10 700 to 600 miles only weighed a 1k or so. Ridiculous. If one more person says "but it's really light" I'm going to find them and give them a titty twister

  6. I hate light plastic tanks. Since it was very short distance I took it. But they are a pain in the ...... A few loads back. I had one sandwiched between two partials that had weight. I just don't see how these other three and four empty plastic tanks drive across Wyoming.

Finally hauled my first (legal) oversize load on Wednesday. Took this 15' tall, 110" wide sub (oil rig substructure, center section) from Tulsa to south of Garden City, TX (southeast of Midland). Got it there Thursday around noon, got unloaded, and tried unsuccessfully to beat the ice storm back home. Wasn't able to hit the big hole for most of the 375 mile trip back home. One of our crew shut it down in Sweetwater, TX and is still stuck there as we speak (or......type).

My trailer as of this morning. I know you guys up north deal with this stuff all the time, but...... I dislike it....... a lot.
