That's the one that the bottom is bolted to the floor? That used to annoy me a bit on that t800 I drove. I'd have to remind myself to plant my heel against the bottom of it instead of using my toes like a regular pedal. Maybe they make one that doesn't attach to the floor you could replace it with?

If it's an 07 it should be hanging from the firewall like a cars throttle. They are a bit touchy but there is a setting in the ECM that changes how if responds.

Bayou put a nice chrome 4 inch or 5 inch down pipe (from turbo to oem mufflers) on that Cat. You see better egt times.

I would toss those OEM mufflers right out. They have a catalytic converter type material build into them from Cat to work in conjunction with the ACCERT motors. To much restriction so that nice 5 inch DP wont do much for you. Just a new muffler that does not have that crap in it and that 5 inch DP and that thing should pur!

Fitzgerald gives you a stripped down 389 for $139,000, D&B wants mid 150's for the same or a KW, Jordan Truck Sales has them for $152-159. The only thing that is cheaper are the freight liner's and those are close to the same cost as a new one. I think they are pricey… Sorry we are getting off topic of flatbed pics...

Saw this "professional" rolling through Louisville this morning. Notice how he took the time to strap down the tire, then just puts no effort into tying down the tarps. And they wonder why cops give them tickets.

The FLD was by far hands down, the best truck ever made. That is why Freightliner quit making them, because those who bought them, kept them and majority are still running today. Wish I had kept mine

He has bungee cords across them. How else are you supposed to tie a tarp down?
