Wow, I guess there's a potential windfall for d.o.t if they just start looking at headache racks.

would it apply in the same rules if your tarps are in your headache rack, isnt that considered different than if on your deck and not strapped down. too bad they dont make a bungee with a WLL

what a dumb ### .... I cant beleive how many people dont think about the liability in their action or lack of.
I bet it would take him longer to bungee them the way he did rather than strap them.

  6. Some more scaffolding for a paint outfit. Guy bought 6 truckloads from another paint outfit. He has a job in Portland paint an entire apartment complex.

Saw this in Chicago a while back, my first thought was 'he's not getting much on those loose rails coming around the ties like that.'

The railroad make you guys strap that way, or could he have come across the rail between the ties, which would hold better and be easier on the straps?

  8. Man, I have this whopping 500 lb shaker loaded . I think I need chains and some flags for this boy. I asked the shipper why the paint. He said it is for a glass recycler. Wonderful. I get to drive on broken glass. Uggghhh

Looks like he could have put chains between the ties to me. Also looks like he's missing the door on his headache rack.
