I try to impress this kind of thing on the other drivers I work with that run 60+mph on gravel roads and give themselves no room for error at all. They don't get it.

OK. I'll bite. Where can you get your light weight tarps?

 

I'm getting 7mpg this month so far, and fuel here in California with our discount is about $3.45 a gallon.

Took all of 20 min to tarp my load, just helped the other 2 drivers since I was not in a hurry and it was the curteous thing to do. And trust me, I made enough on my 385 mile run to pay for the entire month of Feb

Yes, the last 6 days I've been out here it has been nothing but sunshine and 70's. Tonight it's supposed to get down to mid 30's but I'm up in Tehatchapi.

Ill get to enjoy the lovely winter weather as I head back to Indiana this weekend. Oh joy

 

I hear ya on the warm weather. I left Fresno heading to Oregon. It was 72° and now its 50° in wasco.
