figured id post a few of my flatbed adventure loads over here more pics in the album
    composite decking(heavy)
glass(a little worried but rides good no issues)
trane air chillers(16 chains chain their way or you dont leave)
rolled roofing(didnt like the double stacking)
    a/c units from laredo(nice load)
    a/c units from tyler tx(18 units w/boxes...HURRAY!!!)

got a question for you guys on the a/c unit loads that they allow chains on the holes are usually to small for our hooks what are the best attachments to use instead of taking the hooks off the chains which eats up time

Loop your chain (close to the hook) and put the loop through the hole and then hook the hook back to the chain.

I carry D shackles and use them on things like that and these Kubota tractors. Kubota will not allow chains around the axles and no straps on the tires. Kinda stupid IMO but thats the way they want it.

They had to do that for those knuckle heads that would not use any common sense, and tear the crap out of the paint on the tractor when chaining and unchaining. In the past they have let me put rubber between the chains and tractor. Did you get yours out of Jefferson?

Yep, and none of them had buckets on them. I managed out ok, but the sign said "no chains on axles" so I didn't. You can deffinatley tell the difference between a USA made tractor tho and these things. At least CAT and JD give you eyelets for securing them.

I ordered mine online. I got 6 of the 7/16" and 6 of the 1/2" bolt style for $100. They are marked G7 as well to comply with WLL limits (rated for 4,000#) They are made by Columbus McKinnon.

wrap rubber or carpet around any contact point i hook underneath in front and around drawbar in back, no complaints or claims.

and i guess that load from jefferson shot the high mileage rate all to hell, huh? they dont what they used to out of there.

Thats exactly how I do it to. I haven't been seeing a lot out of their lately, and what little there has been has been pretty cheap. I pulled several loads out of there last year, never seen LS in there either. Guess thats why we don't see much out of there anymore.
