Yes that is true, any aircraft in which the President is on would then be known as AF 1

In the pictures he was in them, he came here to speak at a high school graduation...

Like I said I've been around planes all my life, and have friends and family that allows me to get some really up close pictures ....:)

I see what you mean. Based upon what I can see with the vertical stabilizers I think that they are B25's.

    Nikon is the best !!!!!

I use the Nikon 3000, I also have a "Cool Pix" one of those little point and shoot cameras if I need to get a picture real quick ...

I think I'm going to upgrade to the D 7000, That camera is WOW !!!!
    16.2 MP
    1080p Video
It runs about 1100 with lens
    850 for just the body..

I was looking at the newest one D3X
but I just can't see spending 8k for it...
Although one good picture that you can sell will pay for it....:)
It has a 24.5 mp... Which I don't know exactly what good that will do since its my understanding that a PC screen can only display up to 20.0 MP

I've had Cannon and still like Nikon MUCH better, they are a little more pricey, but they take clearer pictures ....

As for the being to tall, how tall are you, #### !!
My ex wife's husband is a Hornet pilot, he is 6'1
Cargo would be boring, although any flying is good flying..

I'm a little prejudiced I spent 6 yrs in the Navy first 2 working on A7E's the rest working on F14 a thru c's and there is nothing like a Tomcat at full AB in the middle of the Ocean at Nite!

I vote for B-25's for a couple of reasons.

First, there are only a few flyable B-24s in existence, while the number of B-25s is much larger - they were sold as private planes after the war, while the B-24s were scrapped as rapidly as possible.

Second, the shape of the vertical tail surfaces in the picture is wrong for a B-24 - they have rounded tips, while the B-25 is angular - matching the photo. You'd see more clutter on the leading edges of the wings to match four engines for a B-24... that isn't there.

Yeah I love my Nikon. If I was going to spend 8k on photo equip, it would be in lenses for sure. I'm 5'11" with a stocky frame. Recruiter said I wouldn't fit very well in a fighter. Grew up on NTC Orlando and off base in Jax. Fly Navy and astronaut stuff was my passion as a kid. I should have just gone to Embry-Riddle anyway, but young and dumb. I seriously looked into Com air back in '02, but I couldn't take the pay cut from driving truck. It made truck driving school and starter companies look good. 50k for tuition to get a 30 k job.

This is not my picture I snatched from My Facebook buddy but it is cool. These things were wicked this one is VF 124 a trainer outfit I was in. spent many nights and days stopping leaks in them. Now like me they are outdated.

I was into planes before I got into trucks. At 18, I interviewed with the regional's to be a flight attendant. The idea of being on call really got me thinking it would not work out. I did however, get good tips from several Us airways f/a's. However, I still love the airlines and am a platinum holder at US Airways though I seldom fly. I do have a photo of me inside a Rolls Royce RB211 535E4 jet engine.
