    Optimal Freight - BEWARE MC# 612654

Rate shopper! Orders truck for Monday with a next day delivery in OH. Doesn't supply pickup number then hours later attempts to move date back 3 days. Claims he's not "cancelling" the load because he's moving the dates. On that premise he refuses to pay TONU. Needless to say I'll be sending this one to collections with an accruing 10 percent late fee beginning on day 31.

For some reason your profile lacks the link/availability to send a message.

One of my dads buds ran a load for Circle 8 and he gives them the thumbs up. 950 on 180 miles. 4.5 hr at p&g in and 6hr up Schodack Landing (Albany area)

Broker didn't even put up a fight for detention don't know what he got for det. pay but he said he'd pull for them again

Please do not do business with TOTAL Quality Logistics... they will book you a load and then keep trying to sell that load to someone else for cheaper. Once they sell it for cheaper they will call you back and tell you the customer cancelled. Terrible company

Also make sure you use a factoring company and run the brokers MC. Some won’t even pay you

Yes because paying an average rate of 48% apr is a good thing...
No, factoring is good for the few times a year cash flow is an issue, but it's not something a carrier needs to be doing most of the time.

I've had nothing but good experiences with TQL. If you didn't negotiate a TONU/cancellation fee AND had them add it to the rate con (before dispatching your equipment) then that's your fault. These things are clearly mentioned in every Agreement I've ever signed. Are you running a business or a charity?
