I agree with that but they don't do me that way... I get $3 a mile with Landstar just about all the time... never hauled a landstar load under $2.25

On how many miles? Are you saying you get $3 per mile from Landstar on 600-1000 miles all the time? Or are you talking about 150--200 miles runs?

I don't pull 1000 mile runs and yes I get $3 mile all the time on 600 mile runs... don't believe me PM me and I'll send u completed bills. I've even pulled $3 a mile sometimes on Mercer loads at 600 mile runs... I've never pulled $3 for CH Robinson

I stopped paying as much attention to Google reviews which are most of the time bad. There are only a few with genuine positive feedback. That's because it is more likely that people would want to vent their frustrations than spend time praising a broker/shipper/receiver for doing their job properly. I don't do neither. I still read them but it has to be at least a hundred bad reviews in the span of the last 12 months to have some meaningful indication of what a scumbag broker/shipper/receiver really is.
For instance, some idiots fail to arrive at Costco DCs on time and then they ##### and moan about being worked in and delayed or rescheduled on another date, slanting a brokerage for not paying detention or layover (which by the way should be paid if the late arrival is not a carriers fault, but the work in or reschedule should be understood) You book a Costco load - better be on time so that you'll get out of there in 2 hours but if you're late you will get out of there too but 2 days later - that's the nature of the beast. Maybe it is best not too book that load, if there is a chance you'll be late due to a too tight schedule.

What is so special about $3 a mile on 600-1,000 mile runs? Where do they end up? If it ends up in the northeast or down in Florida it's a loser. You can book reefer loads like that just about every day around here from any broker.
