    Easy answer Sammy.........

It goes beyond Tolling, but just to let you know ANYTHING going over the Hudson gets billed in and out (You outta know that)
Next...It costs close to $200 to get in and out (if going onto Long Island)

Now...The 'extra' 250-300 is because most guys know what customers are paying.......If your Off by 250-300...I'd say quit gouging or find a better customer.

Sammy..A few examples of "freight" rates going into new York..(that goes to the truck)

    Allentown to Brooklyn $775
    Newark up to Bridgeport $700
Philly up out to the sound $820
Baltimore to Long island City $900

Quit Foolin' around with trucks or you wont be around very long. Just free advice my friend.

It's not just the tolls, I just really hate going further than the Bronx. I will do it, but you will pay me well to do it. Otherwise I'll keep to my easy nj freight where I can avoid most of the tolls and 95% less stressful.

Because thats what it cost! Sir. Depending on where you're coming from..... You say $105 as if a helicopter dropped me off at the toll booth on the GW. It cost to get in and out.. Up and down the NJ turnpike.... If you don't know that, you need out of this industry.

    Online Freight Logistics, OFL.

Last load I ever hauled for them was supposed to be in Birmingham,AL. Floor title. Got the confirmation and it was over 100 miles from there, lumber 2x4.
Picked it up and lost the load in Tennessee, 4 out of 12 bundles.
Never got paid for the delivery, and got a $500 ticket from it.

    lol..Be more specific here.

You picked up a load 100 miles away from where you apparently Booked it from??

Why did you travel 100 miles to get lumber instead of floor tile??

And what do you mean you "lost" the Load? It fell off the truck in transit?

Doesn't matter..Broker still has to pay your freight charge ....Was a claim filed?

Yes, it was supposed to be floor tiles in Birmingham, but was some other place 100 miles away. I had nothing else to go on, and it had a good rate.

Picked up 2x4 that fell off the truck, 4 bundles that was poorly banded. Fell off around I 24 Chattanooga TN around a 45 mph curve, I was going 40.

First load I ever lost, never got paid for it.
