I'm waiting for approval, but hopefully will begin Orientation this Monday (12/9). My situation is a little unique. Two years ago, I made the tragic error of going through a CDL mill (won't say names) upgrade from a Class B to a Class A. I was then placed with a very poorly run starter company (won't say which one) and began my training. Long story short, had a family emergency 11 days before I was scheduled to upgrade and had to go home. Haven't been in a truck since. Overall, it was a very bad experience. The trainer was a "do as I say not as I do" kind of trainer. I learned next to nothing in the 3 weeks I was on his truck.
I have spent the past 2 weeks researching various carriers and I must say that I am very pleased with Prime overall. The recruiter was very nice and answered all of my questions. Also, the information I have found on this thread has been very helpful (especially the Orientation process thread).
Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes through in time for me to go to Orientation Monday!

Thank you! -
Good luck driver at least you picked a good starter company.

Best of like driver, remember though if you're trainer tells you to do something, do it first then ask questions unless it puts you in danger

Thank you.

Thanks! I will definitely remember that.
