If it blocks a coolant line or ends up in the water pump yes it can cause overheating.
-
Well you better run it for a good long time before you shut it off, It will find a leaking hole or whatever you wanted it to but it may seal up a small passage way in the block or anywhere else and cause like stated before a over heating situation, What is the reason you put this in there for? Good Luck.

its likely still in the expansion tank where you poured the coolant in, id try to see if i could fish it out.
btw i read it wrong at first too as there is a radiator stop leak called alumi seal or something very close to that. -
fish it out before it block a line
