Being a new driver I have been waiting to break at a stop with a good CB store to buy from and have them install, tune and peak a CB system. It's been a few weeks and I am ready to install at least the basics so that I can have something functional until I can have a pro tune and peak it. As I look at the shelf in my T-600 There are 2 coax males that I assume are for each side (antenna). There are also two female terminal jacks, one red and one black that I assume are for the power. I have been looking for an adapter with a 3 pin female to mate with the back of the CB and one red and one black male lead to plug into the existing jacks. Does this adapter come in the box with the CB or is it something I need to purchase. I have not seen them on the shelves at any of the truck stops that I've been at.

Also it looks like there is just one terminal for a coax in the back of the unit that I looked at. If I just have one antenna that would seem fine, but if I wanted two would I need some kind of special splitter.

Am I on the right track?

New radios come with a 2 wire power cord(red/black)
The coax on late model trucks are for both the CB and the Am/FM.
Far as I know the right side is AM/FM and the left is for Cb radio.

The factory has them in a co-phase configuration(2:1) so there can be one single connect between the two.
