It isn't necessarily just the fan that blows hot air darlin......there just was not enough fans at the coffee counter at several truck stops in my opinion!:biggrin_25523: :biggrin_2559:

I've got a 400w/800w peak, plug-in inverter. I use a Max Burton "Stove-To-Go". Works like a charm. Does more than just heat up soups and stews. Heats to over 300 degrees. Clean up is just wipe out with damp cloth/paper towel. Got the inverter for about $30 and the cooker for $25 on sale. Pilots have had the 300w inverters available for $29.99 with a $10 mail in rebate.

Beg for an older (03-07) Freightliner ('shaker). They are ugly, noisy, not as comfortable. But they have Opti-idle!!!!! Once you get used to the truck starting while you sleep (see below) you'll love the comfort.

The 1st time I set it up, the truck was still within the temp range and 2 hours later started to add some heat to the bunk area. I shot up from the bunk looking for a weapon to kill whoever was trying to steal my rig.......:biggrin_2559:
