I was just surprised that a company paid so little to someone that ran their own numbers. I have no problem with his operation.

Ya power only is only good 4 a brief period. It helped me age my authority 2 where I wanted and now have moved on. Did about 3 months steady there then a few loads here in there once I was on my own chasing the market. Basically I would run a week with them if cash ever got low enough 2 make me worry in between invoices or if took a week off. Refuse 2 use factoring company's and etc so running 4 them and getting paid via comdata for $1 fee worked out. Worked great to get my authority aged and have steady miles and no trailer payment at first, Other than that it definitely isn't a long term option. Will never save enough money for maint, truck repair and replacement and etc. at least imo.

I'm glad you got what you wanted out of it. Believe me, I wasn't knocking what you were doing. I just figured, considering what I'm getting running under someone else's authority, that if I was running under my own then the % would be higher. So did you get your own trailer?
