I am having trouble washing my truck properly and am looking for some advise. I have a washer I bought in Home Depot but its no good. Cold water only and I just cannot get it properly cleaned. Can anyone recommend a power washer that will wash the truck and last. Thank you.

Muratic acid is not to be playing around with, first you do not want that stuff getting into the ground water supply, it is lethal, second I use that stuff to remove galvanizing off of bolts and other stuff before welding. I can only imagine even in very small doses that it will dull paint down and cause it to flake off. Its not meant to be used as an automotive cleaner. And if you run it thru a power washer, never mind the damage there, but you will be breathing small particles of it in, it WILL eat at your lungs. It is a bad idea all around. The best thing I have found to use to get bugs and other round grime off is Simple Green, it works very well and is environmentally friendly.

muratic acid will eat concrete i wouldn't use it on a truck however the right soap can make a truck shine washing with a garden hose and a soft brush.
