I am not sure if I posted this, if it's on there 2x's I appoligize and will delete it!
I have new information coming! -
I would like to download the ppt on 11 & 14, but I saw where someone else was getting in posts in order to down load, what is the needed magic #of posts required?
-
I started the thread, in the first post it shows the Attatched files at the bottom of my message to all of you. Click on it and you should be able to download it, unless your computer does not have power point?
Let me know I can covert it to word, but you will be looking at the whole picture instead of it walking you through step by step.
If you don't know how to use power point
Click on Slide show (look at the toolbar)
Then click on view slide
Then click your way until it states the end! -
I would like to read the powerpoint, so this is my 1st post
Post Cherry popped! -
I glad you popped that cherry finally
Let me know if it helps you out any, check out split breaking also! -
cool helps alot
-
Great! If you need more help just ask, we are always here for you

I am somewhat confused about the 10 hour rule, which is not at all surprising. In your power point you stated that the 10 hour rule can be accomplished 3 ways. 1) 10 hours in the sleeper 2) 10 hours off duty 3) a 10 hour combination of off duty and sleeper.
On the dot web site the rule reads as follows:
(A) The term ``equivalent of at least 10 consecutive hours off
duty'' means a period of (1) At least 8 but less than 10 consecutive
hours in a sleeper berth, and
(2) A separate period of at least 2 but less than 10 consecutive
hours either in the sleeper berth or off duty, or any combination
thereof.
The way I read this is that you cannot combine all 10 hours but only the 2 hour period. You must have 8 hours of consecutive sleeper plus a 2 hour combination of sleeper or off duty.
No government regulation is clear cut. Am I missing something here?
