I live in Michigan about 2 hrs from the Indiana state line. I am going to a CDL school out of Kalamazoo michigan area. the school had me fill out applications to Swift, Werner, Covenant, CRST, ROEHL, TMC Transportation, or Transport America.

Which company should i go with when offered?

i am looking at leaving michigan after my 1st full year with a company but i plan on staying with which ever compay hires me.

What type of trailer do you want to pull? Do you want to team? You need to tell us more

If you'd rather do flatbed then of the one's you mentioned I'd go TMC, Roehl, Swift.. but there are others that you should consider. Maverick & BTC for example.

Of the one's you listed for Van I'd go Roehl. But as in flatbedding, there's others to consider. May Trucking, Con-Way Truckload, Millist Transfer, Schneider, etc.

Possibly check out those co. here - also check them out on line. See what the cpm / benefits are. Head to a truckstop and talk to a few drivers... just as an idea... (I've read those ideas here - LOL)... I wouldn't be able to suggest one over the other - I'm just starting school myself :D
