That's why you do what you're supposed to with a transponder-equipped truck. When it's red, you go in.

If it's red you go in. That's the deal.

Ok I experienced this and I got in line while the closed sign was on ! Leo came out asked me if I had a problem seeing the sign? I said no my pre pass said come in. His words " that thing don't mean a dam thing when that sign says closed " so as he he was ticked off I got the hardest level 1 I have ever had ! so now if I get a light and the sign says closed I'm a rolling on by ! Just my way ain't saying its right but its what I do !

If you get a "RED" and pull into the "CLOSED" scalehouse, HOW long do you sit there? Do you wait til the Officer comes in the next day? What if they close on friday, you come by on saturday and then Monday is a national holiday. Do you sit from saturday til tuesday?
Common sense is getting lost on the technology highway!

Going into a CLOSED scale would be like calling the cops because you are speeding . . .

Well, if someone had a share of common sense, you'd think that would preclude someone from posting something so... (you fill in the blank.) If its dark, locked up, no one around - of course you go on by. Geeze! Do you guys "think" before you post something like that?

When there's trucks going in, a line, the roadside sign says "closed," and prepass shows red - you're supposed to go in. That's all there is to it. Never had a LEO give me a hard time about that Okieron. You're taking a chance if you don't.

If the scale house line is full and they turn the sign to "CLOSED" then it doesn't matter if you have prepass or not you are suppose to bypass whether you pass is showing red or not. If you do stop even though the line is full you are then becoming a road hazard. So just keep on keeping on drivers...

And I'd agree with that too. Comes under "common sense." It'd be a good thing to have a dash cam picture of that too, don't ya think?

There is, it's true. Aluminum foil hats keep that presence from being able to influence you though.
