    I hear ya! It's better to be safe than sorry and I passed my PreTrip the first time I took it in 98. Do the "drill" and get out of there is my advice.

    May be too late now, but don't drive that truck up to the testing site. Well, at least not without a CDL holder in the passenger seat.

    While rumor, I've heard from reliable people of getting a no license ticket if there is no CDL holder, as the CPL is not valid that way.

    My pre trip test isn’t until June 15th. Also, that truck is at the test site and owned by them. I’m just renting the truck from the test site.
