My friend use to work for them out of Baltiomre md and he said they have a high turnover rate but he was pulling in 1400 a week after taxes. but he said even with the equipment they have (lots of break downs) he would have stayed with them.

My hubby works for PMTG, and has for several years. While no company is perfect we have been happy with them about 99 percent of the time.

The auto industry has changed in the last few years but from the latest info we have received things are going well overall, and they do treat their drivers well.

I DO know they get you home, if you break down they are quick to get you on the road again, they take good care of their trucks (I can almost tell the day that hubby will be scheduled for maint. after all this time), and honestly I think part of any job is what you make of it.

Drivers are paid by the load NOT the mile; and it is figured on the cars on the load. Hubby has been a driver for over 20 years and PMTG is the happiest we have been. No they are not perfect, and there are some who will complain no matter what job they have. Routes/loads etc have changed in the last couple of years but they have kept my hubby running with only a slight slow down back in the end of 2008 and then it was only slow for about 5 weeks.

He has always been home for Christmas which seems to be an issue for a lot of drivers, vacations are when they are supposed to be, health insurance is decent and new payroll system is working well. Anyone I have delt with is always nice and when his father passed away PMTG was awesome, as when my father died.

They offered me a position with the company but i have heard good and bad with them . i really want to be home every day because of my family. what is it like is local a possibility. thanx

To the OP, go check out some of user name "Rainman1971" recent post and you can get a good idea of what this company is like now. Maybe PM him, and he would probably get back with you. His post seem to be a lot more truthful, and based on fact, as opposed to the individual that posted above me.

Rainman seems to be more truthful ? Seems like you just might be calling me a liar.

I am the WIFE of a DRIVER, anyone on this site who knows me KNOWS THIS IS THE TRUTH. I am NOT nor NEVER have been any type of recruiter.

I do NOT speak of anything about PMTG that I do not know. I simply post the experiences we as a couple have had, so that people can get an honest opinion, from ME; nobody else since I speak for nobody but myself.

I am not going to argue with anyone about this company, I know how they treat us and thats what I shared. There is GOOD and BAD about every company out there like I have said before thankfuly for us there is MORE GOOD, than BAD.

Calling a mod a liar isn't going to gain you any friends on this forum.

The site owner tries VERY HARD to have a quality staff. This includes not having folks
that are full of it or liars.

If you disagree with Luvmyhubby thats OK to say you disagree, but do not call her a liar.

Not calling anyone a liar, just giving a perspective from someone the has actually WORKED for the company in question. Maybe her husband is feeding her spoonfuls of BS, who knows. This is just my opinion, as are all my post.

Sorry, didn't mean for this to turn into a p*****ng contest, I was looking for 1st hand info on a company that offered me a job. My thanks to all posters.

I am taking all information and processing it based on facts or hear say. and I do appreciate all info.
