Might be an odd question. What do you prefer to wear while your driving for 8 + hours? I imagine that steel toed boots wouldn't be too comfortable after a couple of hours.

I've worn the same pair of Justin's work boots for 5 years.

Usually I'll wear Pumas, but if weather is an issue I'll throw on the Red Wings.
You get used to driving with boots on in no time, honestly. -

Only negatives are grip on ice & they can track a lot of mud from the sole. -
I bought these Ariat Overdrive boots last year and luv 'em.
Ten hours plus is no problem.
Paid $170 total.
Composite toe, much lighter & meets same specs as steel toe for any workplace's requirements.
I'm sure the gym shoe crowd won't like em, but I do.
