I agree and many others do as well I'm sure..I am always thinking of ideas to inhance things a little with out the bitterness that has been around before..

I think that in a lot of instancess that the trucker does end up on the short end of the deal..

My thought is That the Oil Company's are taking advantage of everyone truckers,Farmers,Home owners,Construction trades and everyone else that depends on Oil..

#1 we must become a rational electorate again. The current climate of emotional decision making will be this country's downfall. (though do remember, truckers would be one of the most powerful groups IF they would vote together)

#2. the environmental wack jobs need to be told to go pound sand. If their ideas ruled in the 1800's there would have been no Industrial Revolution and we would still be a nation of subsistence farmers.

#3. The trucking 'house' needs cleaned! How? Wish I knew! I abhor the idea of re-regulation, but not sure how else to control who becomes a carrier. The brokers are far from blameless, but if some idiot's willing to haul it that cheap, why pay more? At some point , drivers are gonna have to realize it takes more than a truck to be an o/o.
And the 'backrow' comment had nothing to do with the desire to help others and everything to do with the ' let's take big oil's money' and 'let's not feed them Arabs' mentality.

Nice try at turning my words, though.

Well Hilltop I think the frieght should go up on lumber products a lot since the house building is going down hill. Maybe thats why some products are not moving to well The frieght is to cheap Raise the frieght.
But realy if the products are not selling companys will store it.

    WakE UP, Mario!
    That ain't JUST Cool Whip.
    NopE!

And, if you'll examine the photo very carefully, you'll notice the label clearly says
    Cool WHup. :biggrin_25525:
    Big difference.

If someone opens up a Can-0-WHup ThaT size, by golly -- it could put a hurt on anyone on the receivin' end.

Always read the label and instructions carefully -- and follow them to the "T".
    Go green ...........
Save that WHup for the real rowdies.
That seems to be the only thing they understand.
    Git 'er done.

As to issues, I've had a few.
And every time I did, my issues were addressed and resolved.
The Staff and Mods here ARE reasonable.
And they've allowed me to voice my opinion(s).
    HaiL!
    That's all I asked, .... and I received.
    Imagine that.
    It's twue!
    It's twue!

How the issues were resolved took second fiddle after the fact that they DID listen. I appreciate that they did. :biggrin_25514:

Are the rules stricter here than on some other truckin' sites?
    YuP.
Are the other trucker sites as nice as this one?
    NopE! :biggrin_25512:
At least not in my opinion.
Ya reckon there just might be a connection there?
    'Cause here's what I'm thinkin'.

This site was begat from a man's dream, and provided to us and for us to enjoy for free.
    How cool is that?

In return, he asks that there be no food fights, ..... which I think is a reasonable request.
And an easy one to follow.
So easy, I doubt a caveman could do it.
Nor do they seem to want to.
    Which IS their choice.
Never let it be said the The Truckers' Report stands in the way of Free Will. :biggrin_25512:
In fact, they ENCOURAGE Free Will, and they give the offenders the golden opportunity to go and be free, --- somewhere else.
Again, a reasonable request, dare I say "demand"? :biggrin_25525:

As in real life, so it is with the written words from cyberspace. Part of what come through loud and clear is attitude.
Those with bad attitudes tend to be the first to complain about the restrictions. Notice I DIDN'T say "discuss"? There's a reason for that.

As I mentioned above, I have discussed matters with the powers that be, here at TTR -- and I think every time resulted in a positive manner.
    What's not to like?

Here at TTR, I'm mostly :glasses6:
But make no mistake -- I CAN be :naka:
However, never to the point of being out of control in either direction. And always with a good attitude.

I figure, if anyone can't or won't follow simple directions,.....
What will they do with more complex directions?

    Do I ALWAYS agree?
    HaiL!
I'm a big truck truck driver.
    I rarely agree 100% with ANYthing! :biggrin_25523:
And I can live with that,
because I'm a "PROFESSIONAL" Big truck truck dirver. :yes2557: :biggrin_25525:

    Thanx for listenin' folks.
And thanx to those who make it all possible.
    Y'all deserve a truck-load of chocolate stuff. :biggrin_25519:
