prescription amphetamines for a condition allowed in trucking?

I suppose the over 40 folks on TRT are a bunch of juiced up freaks ready to roid rage on the road.

I asked my doc about rx amps on Monday.
He recommended weekly test cyp injections instead.

Something I have been curious about since college, but never had the balls to break the law.

I stay in pretty good shape already, can't wait to see how this effects me.
Already feel libido rampin.....

 

Are you familiar with the logical fallacy called "The No True Scotsman"?

Allow me to lay it out for you.

Person A says: a Scotsman NEVER puts sugar on his porridge.
(You say "Truck drivers never have and never will use drugs")

Person B says: But my uncle is a Scotsman, and he puts sugar on his porridge!
(Lots of drivers have and continue to use drugs, bud, hence the regular and random testing routine)

Person A says: Ach, then he is not a TRUE Scotsman!
(You say "REAL drivers never have and never will use drugs")

Newsflash: Ya drive a truck, yer a driver. A REAL driver. You smoke and crack and drive a truck? Still a REAL driver (and a real a-hole too, but thats a different matter).

REAL truckers drive REAL trucks REAL high every day. It's a fact.
