I get 90 day supplies, but would use Walmart if I had to.

Wal Mart ... pop into any Wal Mart and they can transfer it from the last Wal Mart in about an hour ... Just make sure you are aware of your time zones as both pharmacies have to be open.

This is a good thread, the problem with walmart is that not all walmart pharmacies are the same or operate under the same rules. I have my doc give me a 90 day script for my pills (which is sent to my pharmacy via email) and then I have her give me a second script in paper form so I always have a backup. Even though walmarts across the country can fill scripts in their system, not all walmarts keep the same inventory - something I found out when I was in the west, I couldn't get one pill refilled in Denver, Cheyenne and SLC so I had it filled and next day delivered to a truck stop.

Wal Mart is a good choice. Just be sure before you leave that you'll be able to get the refill. Some class such as class 2 you will not be allowed a refill in most areas. The laws are funny about those and the last time I looked you could get a 3 month supply but it had to be through a mail order program only.

Funny you say that as I have not had an issue. I do not do mail order and get 90 days. With me, it has depended on my doctor and insurance.

I don't know if it's still the case, but some states only allow a certain number of transfers of a prescription. WI use to be one of them. Found that out the hard way, good thing it wasn't a majorly important medication and I wasn't on the road at the time!

Correct..Commie NY used to allow 1 transfer also. Now it is NONE...I tried to get my meds in Ohio and NY shot the Ohio Pharmacist done..I pleaded and walked away empty handed..Must be some type of ''money'' scam for the states..

Walmart is great while on the road BUT heres the kicker....Some states such as Ohio will allow you to transfer your scripts into state but by state law you cannot transfer them out of state.I know for a fact Ohio is 1 and there may be others.Check before you get your scripts stuck.

sorry didnt read the whole thread before i posted opps
