I much prefer out west, but the TA in Columbia, NJ. You can walk to the west and get up on the old railbed. And then walk out on that huge viaduct. View is pretty awesome from up there and you don't see most of the houses as the trees hide them.

I have been reading on this forum and up to now have not posted, after years and years of driving the best view from any truck stop is in the mirrors.

You actually got to see the sun in Northbend!?

I lived in Tacoma area for 6 years. The words "bright and sunny" are mutually exclusive from a sentence describing Seattle and its suburb 361 days out of a year.

pretty much every truck stop in washington is a dump, Petro just out of spokane is decent. It is a rare day you see anything but clouds at North Bend

sounds like a great place I'd love to have coffee there in the early morning and watch the sunrise as I eat my breakfast.
