    Won't be the first time...

    So this guy's negligent driving kills a civilian and keeps his job, yet the NCSHP spokesman resigned (or be fired if he didn't) from his job for sending 'inappropriate' texts on his phone to his secretary. I don't think they have their priorities straight.

    It is over as far as the trooper and his job and the police doing anything.

    What is going to bring it to full life, is a civil trial.

    the family just got a nice retirement package here.

    The HP can still be held accountable for breach of service for not following through properly too. It will not be the first time an uproar has reversed a decision.
