Animal strikes are considered unpreventable (even though most probably are preventable). Your driving school should have taught "Don't veer for deer".
(Aside: The entire state of Montana is "open range", livestock always has the ROW. If you hit some rancher's cow, they have to be compensated for their loss and they owe you nothing for any damage incurred.)koncrete cowboy Thanks this. -
