They did bring them back. You can order one now, or buy one if you can find one unsold at a dealer. I don't know what the price difference is.

    Blkcowboy Thanks this.

Not likely. There is no pride when they make the trucks. Interior is no better than a volvo.

Not worth the money. Aside from the "exclusive" grill, steering wheel and dash, you can likely customize a standard 389, make it look better, for less money.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Here's another funny thing , drivers today would still probably pay the employer to drive a truck the says peterbilt on the side.

Funny thing. Resale apprx 30% better. Not say'in volvo inferior, but I see old not that great(2000 yr) petes selling for more$$ than 2012 volvos. Why is that? Years back read thats just a fad that will pass. Still going on now, mayby more so.

Maybe Pete will have a "New Coke" moment in another few years.....bring the 379 back amid fanfare and hoopla. You get a "We're Sorry" license plate frame with your purchase of the reintroduced, good-as-you-remember, Pete 379 for 2022!

All the truck manufacturers are circling the drain imo....a Mack now is just a Volvo with a chrome dog on the hood.

I never thought I'd see the day where the sight of a Freightliner "Classic" would be a remarkable event......Of course, I remember when people said that Schneider would NEVER run conventionals.

    driverdriver and Mattflat362 Thank this.
