i’ve been told by a few drivers that Charger is / was taking loads across the boarder and coming back to Canada empty with no freight and that they were declaring bankruptcy Also . i’ve seen lots of 2023 freightliners being sold by them trying to get rid of excess equipment .i know drivers who we’re getting paid hourly to go from kellogg’s brampton to their belleville plant went from getting paid Hourly to mileage rate. Charger basically said take it or find some where else to work

Rumors about a bankruptcy at Charger have been floating around for years now but it never seems to happen.Time will tell.

No shortage of Charger trucks in the US, especially Texas on 35 coming out of Laredo/Eagle Pass and the Del Rio area.

Is Pride likely to offload trucks for penny’s on the dollar at the moment, or is it all shut down right now?

looking to buy and run with my own authority.

Ahhh thanks, I don't run cross border anymore. My friend used to work there and they pull autoparts from Laredo. Not much local presence in the GTA though.

Mileage from Brampton to Belleville is awful. I couldn't imagine doing that. Our company started slipseating and basically told us the same. Don't like it you can leave, there's a lot of drivers looking for work.

Funny how that works and yet all these big company's are crying about a driver shortage, LOL

My guess is the bank or financial institution would get the trucks back either by pride giving them back or repo . i could see the lender sending everything to the auction trying to get what ever they can

The ships will keep sinking in 2024 if the market continues like this.
