I typed the name into google. I also remember when they first started. I worked with Dan England....Jeff's brother. LOL...I also remember when working for CREngland was a good job. But...that was a long time ago, when I was a kid starting out. I think all the family fighting back in 77-78was their biggest down fall.

 

Yeah I'm interested in this company.. Although they said you can make up to 35 cents a mile.. I hope that's a typo.. I work for central and at my year mark ill make 33 cpm.. Does anyone know if pride has a force per diem and how the trucks run.. Will they do 65 up and down a hill with say 79000 on?

 

No it is not a type O they pay up to 35CPM and they are groverned # 65 dont here to many complaints about there trucks

 

Well that's okay.. I guess you can't expect much for only needin 1 year exp.. Their trucks are nice.. I'd hope to get in a 386 outta all their trucks.. I'm curious about kts outta wvc ut here too..

Pride is owned By One Of Gene,who is the Son of Chester aka CR Englands Son, He started the company after a huge disagreement with his Brothers who are at CR to this day.
He Started the company as Pride of England, after a long talking to From Dad and Mom he shorten it to Pride, in the start he had 2 trucks, now he is much bigger.

 

And they run legal !!!!!!!

 

Would you mind expounding on this??? "they run legal?" Is this good or bad? What is it? Thanks. TD.

 

They go by the book, and have a good safety record.

 

when I went up to Utah a few weeks ago, thru Page and up there were a bunch of their trucks running thru there, Nice trucks by the way. Can't tell you how they are to work for.. anyone else got any info? Thanks. TD.
