Kind of stuck.... sitting on the fence on who to choose to drive for. Pride Transport, or James H. Clark?

I haven't read too many complaints here on The Forum on either company, save for a few "whiners" that post every negative thing they can write about a company, but you never hear from them again.

Pride indicates that they maintain about 400 trucks, whereas James H. Clark is below 100 trucks.

Pride seems to pay better, but Clark seems to be more "family friendly" type.

Any advice from anyone out there? I need to give one of them a decision soon! Monday start date!

Does "family friendly" or those "mom & pop" companies have better benefits than the larger companies? Go where the pay and benefits are best. Go where you feel you can make the most money annually.

Well.... I have done my thinking and have decided that I will choose James H. Clark instead of Pride. James H. Clark provides a lower initial rate of pay, but increases better than Pride. Also, there are more bonus monies available, which are also paid more frequently. Finally, and perhaps most importantly.... frequent arrivals to the one and only home terminal..... here in Salt Lake City for increased home time!
